Donny's Girl II is a great little supper club in the Watertown area. The staff was more than welcoming as we entered to enjoy cocktails. The Old Fashioneds are muddled and quite generous. We enjoyed conversation at the bar until the rest of our party arrived. The food was very good! We enjoyed the stuffed salmon, breaded walleye, duck with cherry sauce, and prime rib. All the entrees were excellent! The salad bar was also a nice treat with delicious options. Service was attentive, and it was a great evening visiting and enjoying a great experience at Donny's Girl II!

2023- Tonight was our first visit since the new ownership, and it was absolutely fantastic. everything tasted amazing and fresh. We both had the cod fish dinner. I ordered the french onion soup, and he had the clam chowder. Both were very good. The fixings that they brought out before dinner (potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, and bread) were also fresh and tasty. Our waitress, Maddy, was the best and gave very good service. The atmosphere made for a nice romantic date night. We will be back!

Updated Oct 2023 - new chef is fantastic. Wife got scallops, incredibly fresh, and I got walleye, amazingly light and tender. French onion and salad bar still the best compliment! Still miss seeing Jaci but a great place nonetheless.

The food and drinks were really great. The service was a bit slower than we would have liked it to be.All of the adults at our table got the fish fry, and it was great. The other things (slaw, baked beans, and potato salad) were brought to our table after our food. That was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker.I would recommend the establishment to others, and we will come back to visit again

Friendly, family atmosphere with great variety and large portions. Salad bar with excellent pickled herring and hot spinach salad. Had the 1/2 roasted duck...excellent fare, all around!

We are avid “Supper Club” diners. We looked through our supper club book for some place new…. WOW our choice of Donny’s Girl II Supper Club was a FANTASTIC choice!We arrived early Sunday to have a drink in the bar - we were greeted like family when we walked in (little did we know it was Fred, The Chef and Jen The Manager/Bartender!!We had great conversation with Jen at the bar regarding the restaurant and its history along with travel and the area. She thoughtfully brought us to our table for dinner and introduced us to our server, Kim.Again, had wonderful service and conversation with Kim. She was attentive, friendly and just all around a great server. After we raved about the fresh and wonderful salad bar, the amazing meal (I had the 16oz Prime Rib special and my husband had the Duck)The food was so flavorful, hot and there was A LOT of it. Your dinner includes soup, salad bar, bread and your meal with veggie and a potato choice! It was more food than we could eat but happily brought home leftovers! My husband loved the pea soup so much he brought more home!Kim let Chef Fred know how much we were enjoying our meal that he came out to say hello and we were able to tell him personally how much we enjoyed the food and service.The ambiance is quaint and an “old school” Wisconsin bar/Supper Club - just how we like it!We can will be back to enjoy another meal soon. Later evening fish fry…, Great service from Jen. She attended to all of our service requests. It took longer to dine but offered extra services because of the additional requests just prior to us being served. Fred, the chef even introduced himself to our group. Greatly appreciated the special attention. Will be back,,,

Classic foods done right. Quality is superb price is very reasonable. Go in, have a drink, in the privacy of your party or ventuee out and make some new friends, before having dinner in a vintage setting.I do a lot of travel with work and this is a place that I really miss being away. It's a local place you can walk into an "out of towner" and leave a "local yocal".Give it a try, definitely worth the adventure.
